I downloaded Backup Exec 2012 to try and get some information off of some old tapes we have. I am not familiar at all with tapes or the software itself, so bear with me please. I got everything hooked up, and I can see all the tapes themselves in Backup Exec. Apparently it read something from the tapes, the name of the server I am trying to access information off of, and it let me go through and select the files I need off the server for restoring. I go through the whole restore prompt, and once the process actually starts, I get the error that it needs me to import the 0000003L tape (or similar) - which is located in the stack with the rest. The issue is there is nowhere to actually import the tape (the options are grayed out) and the tape shows that it has 373/373 (or similar) of GB free. Considering both images I am trying to retrieve are 5gb+ each, they are assumingly not on it. If I press OK on the message, it just comes back and the job stays queued.
Any suggestions?
