We have two servers Main and Test. We backup Main but not Test and there is no Backup Exec agent on Test. The main system has Backup Exec 2010 R3 13.0 5024 and also an Exchange Agent., Main is the media server.
We are trying to restore an Exchange Public Folder on the Main machine, backed up from the Main system public folders, restoring it back to the Main system public folder (either to its original location or redirected) but the restore job always fails because there is no agent on the test machine. There is no replica of the public folders on the Test machine either (other than the Exchange System folders).

Why do we need an agent on the Test machine or how do we stop the restore trying to access it.
The system backups up the Main system with no errors and because there is no backup of the Test Machine an agent is not required. Main back is to Tape device and there were no issues duplicating the backup to disk so that we can do the restore.
Systems are running Windows 2008, Main has Exchange 2010 and Test has Exchange 2007.
