Restoring from BE 10d on USB drive to new server with BE 2012

I'm needing to know if this can be done. I got my old server(Windows Server 2003) with Backup Exec 10d I have been backing up to USB drives. I have a new server(Windows Server 2008) with Backup Exec 2012. I am wanting to do a restore on the new server in BE 2012 to the new server from the USB drive containing a full backup from the old server that is using BE 10d. Can it be done? Any documentation on the process? The end results is I'm needing to get a clone of my D: drive from my old server to the D: drive of my new server with all the same shares and permission in tact.
