Platform: Windows 2008 64bit
Version: Symantec Backup Exec 2012 SP1A
Type: File Server Backup Job
Here's my issue: I've been backing up my File Server for a month now with Backup Exec 2012. I decided to copy some old data in a folder over to my file servers D: drive. When I edit my FS Backup Job I don't see the new folder appearing in the list of things to backup. My FS Backup Job only shows what I was previously backing up. To add more, I can backup the not listed folder not showing in my FS backup job without it appearing in my full backup of D drive. I'm wondering if this is a bug Symantec has to work out? I don't want to reinstall the Windows Agent (haven't tried it yet) just to view the new data folder. Going forward, I don't want do this each time I create a new folder in my FS Server D drive. There must be an easier way.
Here's what I want to do: remove that "Folder A" from being backed up by being able to deselect folder from our Backup Job.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
