VCentre Exchange Server Snapshot removal

We are seeing issues regarding backing up Exchange servers which are on DAG via VMWare where the snapshot is not removed duing the backup and subsequently the server ends up running on the snapshot and causing serious performance issues on production system.

Has anyone seen this?

We have backup exec 2012 - run backups of the virtual machines via vcentre (standard exchange install is fine - only an issue with the servers which are members of a DAG)

We have a seperate job for the DAG backup which is fine. It just seems to be the backup of the machines via vcentre.

This is causing major performance issues.

Any help would be appreciated.
