Backup selection details not coming up

I want to change the time that some of my servers are backed up.  I click on the server and choose edit backups.  On the left where the backup selections should be listed I simply displays a spinning circle and the selections are never shown.  The backups have been working the previous few nights so I know the agents are working properly.

Because of this, I am unable to alter the job in any way.  Not sure why this is like this but I need to be able to get around this some how.

I am running 2012 SP1 with ALL updates according to LiveUpdate (on Windows 2008 R2).
