Exclude files in ralus.cfg

Is it possible to exclude files by extension in ralus.cfg? I already created an exclusion rule within backup exec server however I can still see these file types being scanned by the backup exec agent which appear to be causing our access denied errors that have been randomly occuring. I managed to exclude files based on folder within ralus.cfg, but not by file extension/name.
