Limitations for restoring NDMP data

Hi Team,

We  are using backup exec 2010 r3 and backup taken through it of EMC box we want to restore to DR site. Where bews version is same but model of EMC box is different and during restoration we received error : 

NDMP backup sets can only be redirected to an NDMP server of the same brand. //10.129.200.15:10000//User_Data cannot be redirected to /vol/data.

Please confirm with me this restoration is possible. Please provide me technote for BEWS 2010 r3 which states about limitations of  NDMP .
